Sunil Kamath is a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft where he works on Azure SQL services. He leads the Azure Database for PostgreSQL service on Azure and recently helped launch the service. Prior to Microsoft, Sunil worked at IBM Toronto Labs for over 15 years and assumed several technical leadership and executive roles in the area of IBM cloud performance engineering, hardware and software co-engineering, and as the product performance architect for IBM’s flagship DB2 distributed database. He earned a M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Alberta.
