PostgresWorld Webinars: 2026
Once again the People, Postgres, Data community is bringing the best in all things Postgres Education. This year we have moved training to the PostgresWorld Training sessions . The Webinars are 100% Free Postgres Education.
The registration period ends in

Goodbye Restarts: Dynamic WAL Level in PostgreSQL 19
Logical replication plays an important role in PostgreSQL for zero-downtime migrations, selective data replication, platform modernisation, and data integration. Traditionally, enabling logical decoding required setting wallevel = logical and restarting PostgreSQL. In production environments, this could introduce unnecessary downtime or force organisations to keep wallevel permanently set to logical, even when logical replication was not actively required. PostgreSQL 19 introduces...
Analytics on the Reporting Replica: Five Postgres Symptoms and the Columnar Option
Most Postgres teams move reporting queries onto a read replica, and past a certain volume that replica becomes its own operations problem. It usually starts with reports getting killed mid-run, when a long analytical query and WAL replay conflict. The standard fix stops the cancellations by asking the primary to hold onto row versions the replica still needs, moving the bloat upstream. Meanwhile the replica falls behind during the hours the business is watching, large reports exhaust their...
Security and Privacy Best Practices
How are you approaching security and privacy in PostgreSQL today? Bring your questions, lessons learned, and real-world challenges for a community conversation about the practices people rely on to protect their databases and data.
New Features in Postgres
What new PostgreSQL features are you exploring, and which ones are actually changing how you work? Join the conversation to compare what people are testing, adopting, or still figuring out across newer Postgres releases.
Maintaining Your Environment
What keeps a PostgreSQL environment healthy over time? Join other Postgres folks to talk about the routines, warning signs, and maintenance practices that help keep systems reliable as they grow and change.
Deployment Practices
What does a good PostgreSQL deployment process look like in practice? Let’s compare approaches, talk through what can go wrong, and share what people have learned from deploying and managing Postgres across different environments.
AI Fatigue, The pros, Cons and How do we prepare for more of it.
We've all seen a little too much AI in LinkedIn posts; AI slop has even become a new classification option on LinkedIn. AI is an amazing tool to make things in your life better, but it has serious consequences and problems. This talk will show some of the good things, bad things, and how we should move forward to improve human connection in the future. If you have felt a little overwhelmed recently with AI in your world come join us for a great discussion on things you can do to feel better.
Closing the Loop: Modular, Testable Postgres for AI Agents
Coding agents don’t need better instructions. They need a tighter feedback loop. This session shows how to build that loop directly into Postgres. We’ll use pgpm, a Postgres package manager, to turn schemas into composable, versioned modules with deterministic dependencies, then test them against the real database with pgsql-test — including roles, permissions, functions, constraints, and RLS. From there, we close the loop: write → test → fix → push → CI/CD. That changes the...
Database DevOps
Running stateful applications can provide many of the same advantages as stateless applications. In this talk, Stephen will share some thoughts on managing stateful applications as part of a CD Pipeline so that applications - and the application's data - can be versioned and deployed safely and repeatedly. This talk will discuss managing structural changes to a PostgreSQL database as part of a CD process. The talk will dive into automation approaches and tooling for managing data migrations...
