Announcing PostgresWorld 2021, the premiere Postgres related global conference.

In 2020, Both PostgresConf.CN and PGConf.Asia will host together, for the very first time, a joined online PostgreSQL conference with additional offline sessions hosted at several reputable University campus in China. It will be one of the biggest PostgreSQL conferences ever hosted in Asia.

This conference will be an Online conference together with several offline sites in several University campus in China.

PostgresConf.CN is an annual conference held by the China PostgreSQL Association for PostgreSQL users and developers. It is also one of the conference series held by PostgresConf Organization. PostgreConf.CN 2019 took place in Beijing, it was very well attended by PostgreSQL users and community members across the globe.

PGCONF.Asia is also an annual PostgreSQL event that took place in Bali Indonesia in 2019, it was a continuation of the PGCONF.Asia event that took place in Tokyo, Japan in 2018. The first PGCONG.Asia conference took place in 2016 in Tokyo, this conference acts as a hub of PostgreSQL related development and technical discussion among PostgreSQL users and developers in the region as well as experts from around the globe.

PostgresConf is the world's largest PostgreSQL conference series, and it is now in China. The Open Source community is ever thriving in Nepal. The Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) community, for example, has established itself as a very active community with its strong stake in educational institutions, the private sector, the government, the non-governmental institutions etc. A considerable population in Nepal promote and use open source software. A recent survey conducted in the Social Media with regards to the users of PostgreSQL revealed that there is growing use and interest in the software companies of Nepal.

The PGConf2018 conference in Nepal is expected to bring all the open source software enthusiasts and PostgreSQL users from Nepal and abroad together at one place, and serve as a major event for creating awareness and further promote the open source culture in Nepal. Furthermore, it will also open up Nepal to the international PostgreSQL community.

Call for Papers is officially open! Some of the topics which can be used for submitting a talk are-

3. noSQL and geo-spatial features of Postgres
4. Unique use-case and customer stories
5. Useful new features in PostgreSQL 10

For more examples you can refer to the papers which were presented at last year's event - 2016 and 2017.

Of course we are happy to accept paper proposals on any other interesting topics as well.
